Hi all,

I need some help with a new project (1st water cooling project)

Items to cool:

4790K

2x Evga 980's

Asus Formula Vii (Just for looks really)

Water cooling components

1x XSPC 360 Rad - Push / Pull (Top)

1x XSPC 240 Rad - Push / Pull (Bottom)

1x XSPC 140 Rad - (Not Used So Far)

Raystorm Blocks for CPU & GPU's

Monsoon D5 Bay Res

D5 Pump

Tubing

Numerous Monsoon Free Centre & Angle Fittings

Mayhems Aurora Fluid

I have read that it can either be the following configs:

Res / CPU / MOBO / 360 Rad / GPU's / 240 Rad / Res

Res / MOBO / CPU / GPU's / 240 Rad / 360 Rad / Res (Tidy Option)

Could any of you guys who clearly know about this stuff recommend a plan, or any to stay away from

Thanks in advance

Reservoir water line

I am in the final hours of my 48 hour leak test. No leaks have been had. I have noticed my reservoir go down about 1 centimeter or so. Anyways I'm thinking this is probably normal from some air trapped in the rads or something? I was wondering after the leak test is done, should I expect it to go down anymore? Or should it stay roughly the same until I do maintenance?

Anyone know if my settings are to high or if its just the con of the cooler? or should i be looking to replace :C

So what's the best AIO CPU water cooler in general at about the £100 $150 mark? Was going to get a Corsair H110 and put Noctua NF-A14 FLX fans in pull outtake. Can be 280mm.

DDC Vs D5... Again

Hi guys,
I was wondering if a DDC pump would be enougj for my build, I know that the D5 is quieter but that doesn't matter to me, if the DDC works I'll go with that. 5 radiators, CPU/GPU Block, Rigid tubing, Soft tubing and 2 reservoirs
Thanks.

Water cooling temperatures...

So I just finished my water cooling setup and leak test so I just thought I would share cause it's kinda ridiculous.

I haven't overclocked my CPU or GPU yet so these are stock speeds just keep that in mind as well. I haven't done a CPU torture test either yet, these are my HIGHEST RECORDED temps during Valley, Firemark, and some other benchmarks...

i7 4790k: 28c

GTX 980: 40c

LOL.

Corsair H100i question

Now that I learned that the Kraken X61 won't fit in my case, I decided to go with Corsair H100i. Now I'm wondering are those stock fans any good? Are they loud? Should I change them? And if so, with what fans should I change them? And is the pump loud?

Is this a good cooler?

GPU all in one water cooling

ok so i think i have CPU cooling covered with a thermaltake water 3.0 with 6 fans in push pull but what about my GPU? iv'e been looking around for GPU all in one water coolers and i found one from NZXT (kracken G10) and one from corsair (hydro hg10). assuming all in one means no custom loop (and no maintenance) this could be a great option for me. do you guys know if i can use this with the thermaltake water 3.0 or do i have to buy another AIO water cooler?

Want to get into water cooling

Hello. I would like to get into water cooling although I do not know what to buy. My current system is a Core i3 4150 ( which I know is not worth to water cool but I am upgrading to Broadwell later ) with an R9 290 in an S340 case. I am looking either at this:

http://www.xs-pc.com/watercooling-kits/raystorm-d5-photon-ax240-watercooling-kit

Or buying an h110i gt or a kraken x61 and an h75 for the gpu with an hg10.

With the kit I would have to water cool the CPU first and then go with the GPU. The kit would look a lot nicer. I also have an h97m d3h from gigabyte which has some nice orange accents so I would like to get orange tubes and have the water blocks and the pump with orange leds.

What do you guys think I should do.

Thanks in advance.

Will an XSPC AX240 be enough for an i3 and a 290?

I want to buy this kit:

http://www.xs-pc.com/watercooling-kits/raystorm-d5-photon-ax240-watercooling-kit

I plan to water cool first just the CPU ( i know water cooling an i3 is a waste but I want to upgrade to a broadwell i5 or i7). Later I would like to watercool my GPU, my question is should I use the 240mm rad for both or should I buy a separate 120mm rad for the CPU and use the 240mm rad on the GPU only. Also, will I need a new pump/reservoir or can I use the one included in the kit?

Thanks in advance.

Open Loop Liquid Cooling Kit

Hello. I was wondering what the best open loop liquid cooling kit out there was for a Intel Core i7 4790k and a EVGA GeForce GTX 970 graphics card. I would like a triple radiator and a waterblock for the CPU and GPU, and I have no optical drive bays. I just haven't been able to find any good kits. Thanks!

Hi,

I was looking at the EK CSQ 90 Degree G1/4 Adapter Black for a 90º for my new watercooling loop.

I was wondering if they were good quality/looked any good. I was going to go with bitspower, but they are all imprinted with the bitspower logo.

Thanks in advance
